Prototype and small test series manufacturing

The services include all the range of possibilities starting from product 3D design and ending with surface finishing of printed products.

Service might include:

• 3D product design
  • reverse engineering by 3D scanning and new 3D modeling of products
  • re-design to reduce the amount of parts or for more efficient assembly of components
• Choice of 3D printing method and materials for the prototype and final products
• Finishing of the prototype and/or test products
  • CNC machining
  • coating and painting, also conductive coatings are possible

Commercial materials: ABS, PA, wood fibre filled plastics, PLA, PP

In-house developed materials: Centria has compounded to mix plastic with requested additives. 

Main tools to perform the services:

• 3D laser scanners
• 4 thermal 3D printers (FDM) for parts up to 0,03 m³,
• UV curing multijet printer, inhouse developed granule extrusion printer attached to the robot arm, able to print parts up to size 2500x1300x1300 mm.
• Corona spray gun for powder coating
• Solvent-based coating line equipped with roller and or spraying unit, drying/curing ovens (IR, UV, thermal) with controlled temperature, airflow
