Material and product testing

Service description:

We provide testing of materials of various origins (organic, inorganic, polymeric), and determine such characteristics as mechanical properties, rheology, composition, structure, electromagnetic properties, thermal behavior, surface analysis, and environmental resistance. The purpose of material testing is very diverse: - research and development of new materials - product development and selection of suitable materials for new products - testing competitors materials - quality control of product and/or process - troubleshooting related to product failure. Tools: Thermal analysis of materials: DSC, TGA, DMTA, STA, bomb calorimeter Compositional analysis for liquid, solid and gaseous materials: HPLC, GC-MS (with Liquid injection, Pyrolysis, Thermodesorptio, Headspace, Purge&Trap), FTIR, ICP-MS, AAS Mechanical and wear testing: tensile tester, vibration fatigue, coating adhesion strength tester, Taber abrasion, pencil scratch tester, Shore A and Shore D, pendulum damping, Structural analysis: modular rheometer, XRD, SEM-EDS, optical reverse, stereo, and polarization microscopes Environmental testing: ageing in climatic chambers (chambers up to 54m3, -40oC to 190oC with controlled RH), thermal resistance (up to 1800oC), corrosion chamber, UV light test chamber Rheology and viscosity: rheometer for rotational and oscillation measurements from liquids to solids, temperature range -100-+600oC, MFI for thermoplastics Others: surface and volume electrical resistivity meter, EMC tester, contact angle meter for surface energy evaluation
