Development of plastic and composite materials for thermal 3D printing

Centria’s expertise in plastic and composite material development is focusing on functionalization of plastic for altering electrical and magnetic properties, mechanical behavior utilizing various additives (nanoadditives, synthetic and biobased fibres). Centria also able to formulate thermoplastics to suit the manufacturing process and as a final step provide customer with the requested batch of material for testing. Our pilot plant twin screw extruder capacity is up to 100 kg/day. Service includes also production of test batch of filament for 3D printing. Laboratory is equipted with extended analytical tools to support R&D on materials.
