Analysis of the impact of investment on the environment

The primary objective of the service is to conduct a comprehensive analysis how a given venture (concerning implementation of new investments or development, modernising of the existing ones) will affect particular components of the environment (air, water, soil) or the forms of nature conservation as well as establishing the manners of prevention, limiting or minimising the effects of carrying out the planned investment. The analysis is conducted if the planned investment is qualified as a venture that may significantly affect the environment or the planned venture may potentially significantly affect the environment. Within the conducted analysis the following are evaluated: direct and indirect impact of a given investment on: the environment and people, including health and living conditions of people, material goods, monuments, landscape, including cultural landscape, mutual innteractions among these elements and accessibility of mineral deposits; risk regarding the occurrence of serious failures as well as natural and construction disasters; possibility and means of preventing and reducing a negative impact of the venture on the environment; required scope of monitoring
